The mission of Brazilian MAC is to get specialty and microlot coffee, "Café Especial". that has been grown, roasted, and packaged in Brazil to coffee enthusiasts in the United States.
As it stands today, virtually all "Brazilian Specialty" coffee in the USA is raw Brazilian beans that have been roasted and ground in the USA by US companies and/or coffee shops.
To us at BRMAC, this is not Brazilian specialty coffee (café especial) at all. In the Serra da Canastra, the Cerrado Mineiro, Sul de Minas, Mantiqueira de Minas, Matas de Minas, and Alta Mogiana, the regions where we do most of our buying, there are hundreds of microlot coffee producers that dry, roast, and package their own beans and put their café especial up for sale locally. This is the best of the best of coffee. We buy and drink it often, and it is not available in the United States
We at BRMAC are uniquely situated to make Brazilian roasted coffee appear in bulk in the USA at your business, your supermarket, or on your doorstep.
We are Americans and Brazilians, we speak both English and Portuguese, we live in the region, we know how to navigate the region, we contact the farmers personally, and we have the set up and the practical knowledge and skill to navigate the logistics at every stage between the farmers and their sitios and the coffee's destination in the USA.
